WC Roundtable-COVID-19 Ripple Effects on Workers’ Compensation

ASCIP is pleased to invite Certified Workers’ Compensation Specialist, Michael Sullivan, Esq. and employment law practitioner, Eric De Wames, Esq., both from the law firm, Michael Sullivan & Associates, to lead the discussion.

COVID-19’s effect on workers’ compensation claims will be addressed with a focus on Governor Newsom’s recent Executive Order, along with when to provide a claim form, work-from-home considerations and the impact of stress. Additionally, accommodation issues will be discussed, as well as return-to-work scenarios and Federal Sick Leave/Unemployment adjustment concerns.
