DESCRIPTION:Training will provide a comprehensive overview of the foundation\, assessment\, collaboration and implementation strategies necessary for effective threat assessments in Community College Districts.  Training will provide an understanding of interventions\, de-escalation\, case monitoring\, and reentry strategies.  Overviews of best practices will be provided as well as strategies to enhance communication and collaboration between various stakeholders involved in the assessment process. \nTrainers:  Preston Jelen\, Chief of Operations\, Knowledge Saves Lives Inc.\, and Heidi Cisneros MSW\, PPSC\, ASC\, Student Safety Advocate\, ASCIP \nTarget Audience:Community Colleges should send a minimum of three team members representing three different departments involved in the violence risk assessments process at their campus.  This may include Administrators and team members of BIT\, mental health services\, student services\, security services\, academic counselors\, and other staff involved in the violence risk assessments.\n \nPart 1 – Tuesday\, October 12\, 2021\, 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm – Registration Link \n
